Kelvin Thomas

Welsh born Kelvin Thomas is a native of Cardiff and studied in Cardiff, London and France with teachers including Otakar Kraus and John Shirley Quirk.

After graduating from Cardiff University, where he is now a tutor in vocal studies, he was a member of the Welsh National Opera Company for several years before leaving to freelance as a singer and teacher.

He has performed with many ensembles and companies including Music Theatre Wales, London Sinfonietta, Endymion, Kokoro and Ossian Ensembles and has a close association with Psappha with whom he has recorded Eight Songs for a Mad King. In addition, he has performed with Psappha in music festivals and concerts throughout Britain and abroad.
